‘Astrological Predictions and Spiritual Insights into 2012 and Beyond’

1. December 1st, Venus conjunct Pluto. LOVE TROUBLE or LOVE’S DEPTHS DIVINED? Shake ups in politics and high places. In musical chairs, this is when the music stops. One finds out if there is a safe seat, a real friend, enough resources, energy, sound plan for one’s projected identity, work, and health. Cain may no longer have a chair on stage after this weekend. For that matter, so may many a cardinal sign. Libra, Aries, Capricorn, Cancer (as well as Gemini and Leo) signs may find themselves in need of retreat, renewal, review, renegotiation, and rediscovery. Need to purify or re-attune certain habits or situations. Cardinal Signs do well to lay back and have some compassion for the protesters and wranglers. Playing it safe amidst storm and blunder. Mutable signs aggressive, forceful, strong but in need of compassion this weekend (Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo) as well as Aquarius, Taurus, Aries, Cancer, push hard this week for agenda and projected aims but need to avoid unnecessary anger or aggressive words or acts which may cause strong antagonistic reactions in others. Check your own astrology chart for what houses these signs (especially cardinal and mutable) fall in your own chart. Such aspects bring out the worst behavior when it comes to those insecure in love, health, or money matters. Love Trouble means you don’t love enough, or getting enough love in these possible areas –

Capricorns need to love themselves more. Love themselves in a way that serves the higher self and the whole environment, world, spirit.

Aquarians need respect money and property of self and others.  The past mistakes are about to be relearned and let go of, making for new future opportunities when it comes to love and money.

Pisces learn who is friend, who is brother and sister; and who to keep away from if success in money and love is to be attained.

Aries – it’s all about keeping the home and higher calling together, clean, orderly, sacred. Need to continue the search for the right job, being willing to work and joy well on your way to new heights; as well as keeping home in good order and sacred cleanliness.

Taurus – Children, or creative projects, raise you above the noise and psychodrama. Do the things you love to do and play all  into your new found wealth of self and other. Personal art and creativity enhance money, and love.

Gemini – It’s now quality over matter, higher learning over boring repetition of self and other despoiling your creativity and inner wealth. Find the greater work of spiritual lifestyle, making the day-to-day job ennobled. Working on one’s inner self purifies and enriches the outer work. Outer work and exercise alone won’t find the happy bird to nest.

Cancer – Invest in your own learning and others can’t take away your love’s worth. The ancient wisdom states that we have only teachers; some teach us how to behave, and others how not to. Knowing what to let go of opens new doors. Love yourself more by giving yourself more private downtime to reflect, contemplate, meditate, and refine one’s world family view. Enrich the inner self to make the outer more wise.

Leo – If you don’t use it, you lose it? Knowing what to give and what to keep is important now. Try putting everything to right use or sell it or give it away. Keep things and self alive by putting everything to right use. What you imprison, imprisons some part of you. What one frees, frees some part of you.

Virgo – Seek what your own higher self requires for further learning and growth; prosperity will follow. Blame not others, blame only the self. Then you can fix things. Change self to change world around you. New learning brings new prosperity. Let go of knowledge of the past to glean and view that which you have yet to know and achieve. What allowed you to survive before will not fulfill you now, nor your future to come. Let the unknown slowly come into view.

Libra – Finding the right world work, quality job, spirit work calling, is now your ticket to future health, money, and love. In other words, follow your star and the whole earth will follow. Stillness of one’s own desire and fear is the key to seeing one’s higher calling. Is your job or world work making you sick or healthy? Need alone time to reconfigure future? Letting go of attachment to outer world, and having space and downtime to ponder the whole of life, may give you much needed insight into self in matters of love and money, futurity.

Scorpio – Friendships aspiring to Aquarian virtues of good fellowship, brotherhood and family of man, honoring the wisdom goddess in all her disguises and faces, and spiritualizing all relationships opens many a door to new opportunity. Being the good friend will make right many a thing now, healing the past and creating better futures.

Sagittarius – Now is the time for retreat, solitude, meditation and yoga, and possessing one’s own religion of heart and soul in the spirit of world peace and family.

2. December 2nd, Sun square Mars (Moon conjunct Uranus December 3rd). Again, this weekend really good for those courageous enough like Ulysses and Odysseus to brave the storm and tempest. Good month for purifying diet and health, motive and aims. Strong force and determination to proceed at all costs. Avoid making new enemies by over assertive actions. Need to be kind, clear and precise in communications and actions. Lots of reactive people this weekend. Good for debate but difficult aspect for confrontations. Drive through your days here defensively. May be an ass-kicker for protesters around the world. Haste makes waste. Avoid falling into negative emotions that lack clear awareness of how to proceed in wisdom/compassion. Better to be still than premature and hasty. Power forces for change blow and flow through the weekend.

3. December 4th Mercury square Mars. Change of mind, mental vicissitudes, debate or argument. Again, if one is wisely discriminate, astute and clear, good aspect for making one’s point precise. Most people just argue for argument’s sake with discursive and negative emotion mind with this aspect, so beware. Accidents and strong winds, talk, actions of force; lots of communications. Be sure to have your facts right before insisting. Patience and consideration of others goes far here.

4. December 5th Venus trine Mars, Mercury inferior conjunction with Sun; with Moon conjunct Jupiter on 6th. Earth Signs prosper, Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus. This aspect may be the healing nurturing vibe for some to make up for past mistakes or discrepancies. Good aspect for healing, catching up, furthering positively one’s future or present moment in history. A few days here of clarity and sanity, positive thought and action, after the stormy weekend past.

5. December 9th Moon square Mars into December 10th Lunar Eclipse 18 Gemini, with Uranus going Direct from retrograde December 10th. Restless world. Weird storms, protests, reversals, and upsets abound. With Mercury retrograde and full moon in Gemini, waves of information and news clash with confusing, erroneous, or wrong information. Mercury retrograde known for time of difficulty getting facts right, difficulty getting new things off the ground and started right, false starts and reversals. Revolution is in the air and everybody is an armchair general for change today into coming week. Sudden shifts in markets, politics, and strategy. Cardinal and Mutable signs shifting gears and direction, mind. Uranus is known for sudden break-ups, changes of direction, heart attacks and sudden loss, or change of heart and sudden healing. Uprisings and sudden downturns or reversals. Uranus always surprises or shocks one into growing in new ways. Uranus has been going retrograde since early July 2011, and now goes direct. Things attempted last spring and early summer, now take either new turns, go up to the next higher level, or get dropped. Many a breakthrough or breakdown.

6. December 13th, Mercury goes direct from retrograde, Moon at apogee. Sudden forward shift of energies in coming days. Deep feelings get released, far out, out-of-bounds thoughts and emotions, or over the top behavior, out-of-bounds or limits behaviour and events. Feelings of wanting to matter, incarnating ideals and making dreams come true. Creativity surge and information overload also in the air. Mercury has been retrograde for the last three weeks or so, causing many a mistaken word and action to retard or confuse relationships and/or paperwork, accounting, and true fact. Here  things start to get straightened out. Here’s how the Sun Signs are affected. Find your sign, moon and ascendent or in which house in your own chart holds these signs for how you are personally affected in love, work, money, karma, and calling. Sagittarius needs to be clear in word and deed. Your own negativities or fears may inhibit good luck coming your way.  New news and opportunities arise soon. Capricorn needs to stop waste or leaks in spending. New opportunities for material success and security just around the corner. Aquarius now benefits from brothers, sisters, friends and family. Better communications and travel in the works and planning. Pisces reassess home and security, diet and chi vital energies. A subtle change of diet and dress improves health and self-image. Aries need to find meaningful play and love so as to march forward creatively. ‘If you don’t want to be treated like a child, stop acting like one’ may be the solution to your anger and judgmental attitudes of late. If you want love, be love. Taurus needs to find right inner and outer work to find wholeness and happiness, healing. Find work that is fulfilling and rewarding to the inner self. Work that ennobles the soul, healing to self and others. Gemini’s secret to success is right partnering and relationship. Don’t make anyone evil in your mind, see the divine in everything. If you can’t see it, look again. Whether close or from afar, now is the time to align your heart and mind to those who hold, reveal, radiate or reflect your own highest ideals, morals, virtues, and goals. Stop comparing yourself with others or blaming others. Now is the time to attune and align yourself with right others, right relationship. Cancer Signs now know what to keep and what to be rid of (in self or other). Attachment is the glue that got you stuck in a slow death and rebirth movie not all of your own making. Either love your way through your every situation or rid yourself of burdensome baggage and unnecessary karmic learning and repeat learning situations. Leo now sees the future, what to do and where to go, fly, travel, and work so to attain goals. Higher learning and need to intelligently grow facilitates your outreach. Think big now, higher opportunities approach in coming times. Don’t get high, take the high way, noble way. Virgo, it’s all about career and calling now. When the right work and calling, the right star, is your only aim; all other things, money and relationship, fall into place. If you take your eye off career and calling, money and relationships fall apart. Libra, it’s all about right friends now. In the coming weeks, discrimination about who is making for a better world, future, and who is not. Your own hopes and dreams, health and wealth, depend on you being a true friend to yourself, listening to your own subtle needs and wants. But in the coming weeks, it may be revealed to you a much deeper sense of who and what is true friend, true future, holy and happy, better world. No one is friend who isn’t friend to the whole world. Divide and conquer, gossip and judgment, doesn’t work now. Making walls to keep out and defend doesn’t work now. Now is the time to make circles that encompass the world while simultaneously keeping secret and sacred holy your own deep private heart; your own heart for world truth and love. Scorpio now discerns the difference between hiding to avoid being found out or hiding to protect, nourish, heal, and prepare. Also the difference of being respectfully reserved, sensitive to others’ struggle, and philosophically thoughtful and discerning from making judgments that separate oneself from other. From over-sensitivity and hiding from others for fear of rejection or non-negotiable differences, Scorpio now sees more the struggle within each soul to find wholeness, completion, emergence, and revelation of truth and being, allowing compassion to bridge separateness. Perhaps Scorpio is hibernating and preparing for a new emergence to come. Scorpio’s danger at the moment is an unconscious falling back to old unresolved patterns and formulas that in previous times either didn’t work or left one wanting, unresolved, and incomplete. Over-sensitivity to self and lack of compassion for others is antidoted by silent downtime to contemplate and further digest one’s own past and whole of life experience so as to digest and acquire more meaningfulness and wisdom insight to serve better futures. Pride is overcome by seeing the universal nature of suffering, as well as struggle of each individual through karma and many lifetimes to be whole, complete, free, and more flowering in heart and mind, soul and spirit. 7. December 17th Moon conjunct Mars in Virgo, watch out for being too critical or negative. Be constructive, positive, good future vibed. Good day to clean and catch up to a thousand little things needing your attention. Remember: If you are not working on yourself, you’re not working. This used to be the slogan in early days of OM CAFE and Mayflower Bookshop.

8. December 18th Venus square Saturn; difficult day to find what you want; or did you forget something? The past returns, the present sinks into the past and slips from your hands, or is it you just want more hugs and love? Patience and loving kindness, others first, and compassion go far with this aspect. Venus/Saturn often brings feelings of not being loved and appreciated enough. Yet also good for long-term love. Loving what matters.

9. December 20th, lots of little aspects in the sky including Venus square Jupiter make for one very very busy day. Multi-tasking and doing a thousand things at once may be in store. If you can concentrate on one thing, you will have a thousand views and waves of effectiveness. Great day for loving someone, even if only yourself. Lots of news from the big world this day. Extremely lucky or unlucky day depending on how your chart is aspected. Hanukkah on December 21st with Moon in Scorpio on eve of Sun Trine Jupiter makes for intimate sweet socializing and personally touching times. All the days around Solstice time are sacred to the Ancient Philosophers. The Sun travels through the sky where the center of the milky way is, more stars than anywhere. Truly a festival of lights. This is the time for deep inner renewal of the subtle physical bodies, a re-dedication of the living temple of the universe, the divine, the higher self, the spark of God within us.

10. December 22nd, Winter Solstice 12:30 a.m. EST. Moon at perigee (everything seems up close intense in your face, look inward and be at peace to antidote violence, anger, over emotional intensities). Sun square Uranus makes for sudden shocks, changes, shifts, insights, revelations, news, jolts and quaking stormy immediate awareness breaks in the flow. Shocks, storms, quake, shake ups, new news for change, both good and bad news from many fronts, sudden change of gears, sudden good or bad luck strokes, strokes or changes of heart. Sudden loss and/or found. Really important day to mediate upon the coming year. Prevision and foresight into the future can be spiritually perceived if next 4 days pondered quietly and deeply. Dec. 23rd Mercury at greatest elongation 20.3 West. From Solstice day and for the next 4 days, ponder destiny and fate.

11. December 24th, New Moon at 2 degrees Capricorn, moody serious day, strange weather in parts, downer night. Good night for burning the yule long, tea, and renewal. A serious or intimately personal time to consider past in light of the future. Bad time to hold grudges or be emotionally upsetting. Good time to heal past wounds.

12. December 25th, Christmas, Jupiter goes direct and the world is saved once again by Santa Claus from being a total disaster. Ha! I mean Ho Ho Ho. Jupiter direct after being retrograde since end of August. Many a project or dream worked on last spring summer, now comes into positive view. The last six months’ work is about to pay off in coming times. Christmas should unveil new positive spirit and future possibility.

13. December 28th (Moon conjunct Neptune), 29th (Sun conjunct Pluto), 30th (Moon oppose Mars) strange foggy celtic re-patterning for future need, or winter weather storm or flooding in parts, and also, world weirdness alert for idiots who think they are god, Thor, or the avenger. On a positive note, spiritual compassion and courage, compassion and kindness abound in such deluded midst and mist. A strong sense of psychological and emotional death and rebirth with these aspects. A sense of compassion and spiritual awakening too. Also a sense of live now, we die in the future. Positively these aspects make one feel as if their life mattered, and something more can be done to improve self and world around. Worries about world, as well as need for personal intimacy and sharing.

14. December 31st New Years Eve, with Moon/Uranus and later Moon/Pluto aspects with Moon in Aries. With Mercury square Mars around 1 am January 1st, take extra extra precaution driving and partying that night. Over the top joy and excitement collides with depressing negative vibed situations and people. Weird weather, difficult travel, miscommunications, arguments, debate, anger … avoid all that midnight ramblers and riders/flyers. Having said all that, if you are top flight ready, good time to get real, get down, socialize and party with intense personal touch and feel. Good time for mental breakthroughs or breakdowns. AVOID DRUNK DRIVING for sure!

ASTROLOGY NEWS AND VIEWS-ROBERT OF MAYFLOWER

1. November 1st, Mercury square Neptune. At best, good day for Om Cafe Miso Soup and macrobiotic plate. Good for playing around, dreaming, planning the future, artistry, and poetics. This aspect notorious for deceptive proclamations, lies, false planning, lack of clarity, confusion, weird weather and psychodynamics. Flamboyant over the top behaviour occurs with this aspect. Take care to avoid fantasy imaginations that get you in trouble. With medication overdose up 3 times higher in last 11 years, difficult Neptune can make for more of such. Super-sensitivity and over reaction. Difficult time to be exact or exacting, or to make big promises one can’t keep. Avoid inflationary or inflammatory behaviours and situations. Strange weather and events in certain parts of world. Confusing news, ads, proclamations, and strange fears, obsessions. Misleading information may precipitate mistakes. Remember, just because you feel it, doesn’t make it real. Ideals not met may stir relationship problems. Avoid projecting on others. 2. November 2nd, Mercury and Venus enter Sagittarius. Higher mindedness, future vision or premonition, and higher love provoke one to transcend one’s fears and worries. New ways of thinking and working with others is now possible. Good time to embrace the bigger picture, the spiritual sky, higher virtues and unique good possibilities for the future emerge. 4. November 7th, Mars oppose Neptune (in influence until 21st). This aspect can vampirize, pollute, or drain your energy. Others suffer the crazy side of active imagination, too much energy, and lack of sleep. Psycho inflationary remarks and actions leading to paralysis or ‘way lay’ of directions and goals. Sudden shifts in markets, politics, weather. This aspect brings out the good guy/bad guy polarity. Religious clash or clash of ideals and futures. Past and future collide. Hard to be present. Avoid spoiled food, fools, and liars untrue to self. Troubles around water, or fire, travel, and false promises. Neptune/Mars can be related to poisoning, bad food or water, air; infections or small epidemics; lies and con-men. Difficult aspect though for delivering the goods, landing the real thing, or completing the job. Need to rid oneself of hidden fears for right decision-making. 5. Fixed Signs, Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus (and houses such signs are in) need to hold to a higher ideal and truth now. Fixed signs affected most for feeling lost or lied to, having too much to do, too many to please, and never enough downtime free of worry and depressing thoughts; strive for the ideal, yet keep practical and simple to hold the ground you stand on. 8. November 16th, Mars in Virgo trine Jupiter in Taurus. Good time to get healthy, exercise, work out, clean up messes, aspire to greater work and goals. 9. November 20th Sun square Neptune. Bad time to be cocky, egoistic, flamboyant or bombastic. Unless of course, you are Elvis, the happy ghost. Nostalgia of the past and a mirage like lure of the future, make for many a foolhardy manouevre and flip. Avoid promises that can’t be true. Get everything in writing. Confusion in economics and the political scene. Neptune tends to be too much make-up and lies, deception in high places. Stock Market should do good for a spell here. Good time for future investing. Good time to try something, or someone, new. Good time to just raise yourself to your own next higher level of functioning. Working with others in positive spirit of enterprise and adventure. Mutable signs need to cut out bad habits, or be cut out of something, or someone’s, life. Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius predominantly influenced here. Venus in Capricorn wants clarity, constancy, honesty, and long-term love commitment; at least something that matters or lasts into the future with meaningfulness and gradual growth and surety. Erratic behaviour or getting too caught up in being little, cheap, or over analytical, over calculating, brings problems to love life, and even perhaps to work. Now is a time when one looks for a more mature stable work and love relationship. Dry materialistic controlling cold hearts lose out now to freedom, long-term goals, sure loving and the desire for a happiness that lasts.

(All Astrological Aspects have influence sometimes for a few days before or after date given.)

1. October begins with Mars square Jupiter at 1:21 am on the 3rd and ends with Sun opposing Jupiter, with Jupiter trine Pluto on the 28th. Basically, this should prove to be quite an energetic month for talking, debating, playing, and courageously taking new steps to quicken the economy and get back to work. Such aspects give some people too much energy  though (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus) in particular are energized and over-the-top with love and high ideals. Cardinal Signs keep having new insights and revelations that catapult them headlong into the future. Mutable signs are happy they are not on the firing line, and are happy to give good counsel and good cheer to every situation. Look to your chart as to what houses, or areas of life, are activated by the cardinal eruptions and fixed sign love idealism. If channeled into creative outlets, such signs can accomplish much in the fields of business and social life, athletics and physical doings, building, fixing up things. Expect extremes and exaggerations in the stock market (especially Mondays and Tuesdays, and end of month into November time). Also many extremes and vicissitudes on the economic and political front and forums. Personal relationships keep getting new jump-starts but take care around any sensitive areas in relationships, money matters, political or geo political hotspots end of month.  Good month for rekindling business and new and old friendships. It’s a month for wanting action, wanting to grow, wanting to start something new. Also strong month for dreaming of different or better futures; strong for pursuing high romance, and love’s ideals.

2. Watch the dates of Oct. 3rd, Oct. 6, 10th, and 13th; 19, 25th, and evening of 30th to avoid negativities, emotional heaviness, and weird weather people. These days could seriously dampen the spirit of love/joy and going big, so take care … and keep loving kindness, wisdom and compassion going. Here there is a need to prove oneself or to manifest one’s ideals and dreams, promises. Feeling depressed or is it divine melancholy? Good days for Miso Seaweed Soup and a Macrobiotic Plate at the Om Cafe. Jason there should be able to pick up your spirit and smile with the great food and desserts there.

3. Venus goes into Scorpio on the 9th amplifying the passion and fury for truth and love. Venus was in fair weather Libra up to now looking for equality and co-decision making. Now, some decisions may be made for you, or need to be made now. Especially the ‘in or out’ type decisions, ‘yes or no’ decisions; no ‘maybe’. Who you thought was with you may now change. With Venus going into Scorpio, decisions have to be made sooner than later about many a thing, money, sex, love, future direction, what to get rid of. So for the rest of October, enough with fairness; go for what’s right, light, wise and flies, what fits tight. Go with what quickly sweetly quells the fire and outwits wrong desire. What facilitates the future journey to happiness and freedom, enlightenment and friendship, love, is the ticket to ride now. Avoid repeat performance, jealousy, attachment, control freaking and emotional manipulation. Violators never get it till its too late, so take good notice. Good time to increase one’s compassion and avoidance for idiots, repeat offenders, scammers and those freaking out from their own fears and tears, desires and feelings of wiredness, tiredness, and lack of right knowledge; avoid the, ‘you should feel sorry for me’ chit. Look for the Karma, Dharma, freedom and truth that holds us all. October 10th brings strange weather and conflicts, pre-debate debates on jobs, economy, war, politics.

4. Full Moon October 11th 10:06pm. GOP Debate night followed by Mercury trine Neptune next day portends to a good show and a wee bit of a debate. With Neptune, the winner is whoever puts on the best magic show, theatre, best one liner slogan or insight slap. Watch Neptune cartoony dreamy promises and good posturing. 5. October 13th Sun conjunct Saturn (5:13pm exact). Early morning yoga? Need for more exercise and rest? Serious day to bottom line it. Meditative virtue mind wins the day. Miso soup at Om Cafe would help too. With Moon conjunct Jupiter around noon earlier; this is an up and down day. False notions of success or happiness may here find an end of the road feeling, or a fated bad luck and just depressing kind of day. For others it’s a good work day relaxing into the evening. Good day to sit with reality and truth. If you are lucky, everything stops to give you a break. Perhaps good for things and situations getting clearer as to what to do and not do. Pieces fall into place giving sense of reality by end of day. Cardinal Signs mostly feel this, Capricorn/Cancer/Aries/Libra. Mutable signs get moody about it, and fixed signs say ‘i’m not moving, i am just thinking about it.’. Good day to stick one’s head into healthy disciplines and goals. Good day to THINK, be still, and PONDER. New initiatives and love in the air inspires new cards or options in the game. Wait till next day to get insight and new options if you don’t get it today. Venus opposing Jupiter evening of 14th, brings fun to the sunny hearted, the social/family scene hits a positive new beat. Monday 17th Mercury opposing Jupiter carries over a wanting to keep going, growing, knowing, spending oneself to succeed vibration; this  carries through the month. Good for fun reaching out beyond one’s self. Good but possibly difficult or dangerous for those who over-indulge, over-do, over-invest, gamble, or take risks. Lots of generosity and sharing this month but avoid idiot sharing, idiot compassion, and idiot ‘someone is coming to save me’, or me ‘them’…  No one is being saved, now is the time to spend yourself on your higher self, the world.

6. Oct. 21 eve, Sun trine Neptune makes for dreamy weekend of escapism and heavy future planning, wanting to disappear or fly away in feelings of pleasure or high escapade. Spiritual soul mating aspect, arts, music, love. Neptune makes one feel an inch away from the goal, close yet a bit away. Take care not to space out, not paying enough attention to what’s ‘right here now’. Yet, this time is good for making far-reaching plans and dreams. Orionids meteor showers give grounding and feeling of coming to earth. Coming to earth with strong facts, determination, goals, with practical get-down-to-work attitude. Now is the time where the bottom rises and the top descends to meet the heart. Otherwise, if you miss the train, you may be wondering, wandering, and asking; rather than hearing the truth, the way, and the lifestyle to go.

7. Sun into Scorpio Oct 23rd makes for sharp shift into strong focus for what really counts as to where exactly one is going, when one will arrive, and what is the exact agenda. Good for getting to exact details but avoid being too exacting or hard on others.  Awareness of what to cut out is crucial if success is to be had.

8. New Moon on 26th to end of month tends to be stormiest in weather, politics, economics, love, health, stocks; and serious shifts in decision making top to bottom, bottom up.  Shake ups or re-structuring at high levels possible. Whatever isn’t working or causing too much friction or tends to rattle the cage too much, gets cut out or reworked now. Avoid starting arguments or being over assertive. Avoid being too hard and fixed, flow more at this time. Did you not read ‘The Book of Secrets’ by Osho, or ‘Foundations of Esotericism’ by Steiner, or ‘Isis Unveiled’ by H.P.Blavatsky yet? Now could be the time! Difficult time to use force, good time to use wisdom and loving kindness. Especially concerning family, love, and friendship. If you know what you’re doing, now time for major breakthrough in love and money; otherwise major breakdowns. If possible, avoid travel, legal matters, exaggerators, crazy people, family squabbles, love quarrels. Unless really smart and well planned, be still; have compassion, and make smart wishes. Fixed wills clash at this time (Venus/Mars in fixed signs). Patience and practical common earthy sense and honesty win out over anger, impatience, pride, and ego now. Strong time for pure passion and passionate pursuits, bad time for fanatical extremism or use of forceful means. With Jupiter trine Pluto good for big money/political plans, good for long-term planning and goals. Try to compromise in sharing power or decision making. Bad or difficult time for taking the law into one’s own hands. Good time for considering what is right or good for the whole.

9. Presidential Election 2012? Mercury goes retrograde on election day! November 2000 election had Mercury retrograde. ‘Holy Bat Smoke Robin’, this could be a mind-bender of an election with a wee bit of confusion or questions surrounding the election process.

10. President Obama’s Astrology Chart reveals progressed Moon about to oppose his progressed Sun making for a Full Moon peak out experience. He may feel he’s reached his full maturity and capacity as President. After the full moon experience one reflects and thinks more, wisdom grows and instinctive knee jerk reactions slow. This could be a time of the last knee jerk reactions. When transiting Uranus joins in on this aspect, especially end of October into first few days of November, look for either a strong jump start on the coming Election, or a jump to a higher more positive level of conversation and action; or just the opposite, some kind of upset or troubling downslide. Obama will have to watch his temper and avoid anger, over-reaction. Good aspect for sudden new insights and revelations. Either way, whatever sudden events or revelations (world or personal) about to happen, could set the mark for the conversation and theme of the next year into the elections. Look for strong indications of who could win at this time. This is also an earthquake or storm type aspect, a sudden alarm or twist of fate type aspect giving positive or negative surprises. Uranus always shocks and enlightens. quickening growth and wakefulness.

11. Chris Christie could win!?! Chris Christie, Governor of New Jersey, a republican contender could be president? Well, I think it is possible if he runs. He is strong enough, he may just walk. With Jupiter transiting his sunrise chart’s MC, he could be a very popular contender with the masses, liked by both democrats and republicans. With progressed Mercury near his natal moon and progressed Mars within square of both, he can debate and defend nearly any position he wishes to take. With transiting Jupiter near conjunct his natal Mars on Election Night, he could actually win, and/or influence the vote. With transiting Uranus squaring Chris’s progressed Sun, he may quick become a blazing Sun, or will he quick reach comet like velocity and swoosh by back to invisibility. Stay tuned. Chris is popular in past for fighting crime, gang violence, porn, and even corrupt politicians stealing from taxpayers or abusing power. He could find himself in a groundswell of popularity if he decides to run. Chris has same Virgo sun and Sagittarius moon signs as Charlie Sheen and Amy Winehouse, so he’ll want to be sure not to over-do, over-talk, over-eat, or over-drink. Chris may rock the boat; or, will he just influence the pick and tend to back off, hiding more behind the front lines of the press. Will he run for President, or perhaps be VP material? I think he may run. With President Obama Election night aspects, upsets are possible. Saturn squaring his natal Mercury on Election Night with Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius opposing his natal Gemini Moon makes for a bit of election seriousness and possible confusion, for sure. Mars square the President’s natal Mars then makes for strong speech, impulsive or assertive action. Well, at the least, the election will be an exciting event, perhaps even a cliffhanger hanging on much past the election night.

Reality and what is truly possible versus lies or false dreams struggle here into Full Moon on 12th. Good for future planning, arts and music, dreams, pre-cognitive prophetics, and platonic love.

2. September 9th to 13th Venus/Saturn declinations along with Full Moon square Nodal Axis may shake up many a relationship in business, family, love. Late August’s flings and adventures in new freedom and love (or even business) now get hit with the bill, reality, and/or long-term effects good or ill. In the musical chairs game, everyone dances with the music, when it stops everyone tries to find a seat and there is always one person who can’t get a seat and is now eliminated from the game. During these astrological aspects in the sky, all the rules start to change. This month, many find the right seat, while others dance away hearing invisible, inaudible music and no longer want into the game. End of the month tells the story of who’s got the right road map. Hey, it could just be one heck of a party week. If one knows what one is doing, it is a good time for dynamic strong change and transformation and renewal. Long-term goals and practical earthy reality needs to settle in to day-to-day behaviour. Leaps of love, faith, and courage dare new expression while fears of aloneness, loss, rejection haunt the movie house. There are sudden realizations of who is who, and what work is necessary to attain goals and results. Sudden storms, upsets, losses, separations, as well as highly creative spirited twists of fate play tempest in a teacup these daze. This is really a bad time to be doing dumb stuff. It is not the appearance of darth vader, devil evil, nor the appearance of a male god to save us. It will prove to be an historical moment of importance in that the feminine mysteries of motherhood, compassion, garden ecology, nurturing, healing, and sacred trust between humankind and life on earth returns. Not the Lord of Rings return of the King, but the return of spiritual wisdom, the Great Goddess. Of course this is timed to be the rise of women running the world rather than just men, but that is just a fragmentary reflection of a much bigger picture of human beings, both men and women, learning to divine their co-creative divinity, virtue mind heart, and true work. When we work on ourselves, our own inner transformation from fear/desire to love and truth; no one will be out of work.

• 1. More earthquake quaky shaky fallouts on August 17th (from August 8-12th doings) when higher truth and love clash with lower desire and fear. One may struggle to find the truth and facts in one’s continued worries and troubles. Look to the stillness, to the Higher Self, for what holds us all together. Or is this just another time to pull weeds, be compassionate with idiots and the spiritually lazy. Avoid blaming others or shaming oneself or others. There is only living up to, and striving, for the Higher Self, for virtue. The highest truths aren’t striven for nor cultivated, they are listened for. Watchful stillness perceiving universal suffering, everyone’s struggle and suffering, allows for new views and creative possibilities. ‘Let Go and Let God’ wisdom good here; soul listen!
